Adam Newman of the Rehoboth Ale House invites folks of all ages to come out on Mother's Day morning and support a great cause, your skin! This is very important to everyone living at and visiting the beach area.
Pre-registration for the SPF 5K is $25 until May 10th and after, the cost is $30. Students pay $20 and $25. Non running guests may attend after party for $10. Online registration is at www.races2run.com and click on Beach Races. Early packet pickup and late registration will be on Saturday, May 12th at Rehoboth Ale House from 2pm-4pm. On the day of the event registration will begin at 7:30 AM. Race starts sharply at 8:30 AM.
The course is USATF certified with chip timing. Course starts and finishes on the boardwalk. Advance registration entrants receive a tee shirt. Trophies will be given to overall male and female winners and masters male and female winners. Awards go to top three male and female finishers in 10-year age categories 9 and under to 80 and over as well as to the top three male and female walkers. The largest team will be honored with the Rehoboth Ale House Cup and happy hour cards. The fastest pre-registered team with the best overall time (including one female) will also be honored. The post-race, Mother's Day breakfast party is sponsored by Rehoboth Ale House. Beer will also be available for participants age 21 and over.

Throughout the day there will be a combination of blue grass music artists, local food trucks, handcrafted goods to purchase, and FREE bus rides through the Great Cypress Swamp.
Advance tickets for adults purchased online until May 4 are $25. Tickets after May 5 and at the gate are $35. Teens aged 13-17 are $10. Kids 12 and under are free.
Run or walk in honor or memory of someone in your life who has been impacted by breast cancer. All proceeds from the 2018 DE-Feet Breast Cancer 5K benefit DBCC's programs that increase breast cancer awareness, promote the importance of early detection, provide access to mammograms and cervical cancer screenings, and provide support and resources to women and men in our local community who are newly diagnosed or facing recurrence of breast cancer.
Packet pick up and late registration will be held on Saturday, May 19 from 4pm - 6pm at Crooked Hammock Brewery in Lewes.
