Dover, Del) - This is another stop on the journey of Overbrook town center has had with Sussex County and DELDOT.

When first proposed it was to be a larger structure but there was not enough land left for parking. After receiving Planning and Zoning approval, The revised plan was put on hold for several months until Councilman Sam Wilson returned from his medical leave so as to have a full council to vote on the application.

The proposal failed on a 4-1 vote with only Councilman Robert Arlett supporting the concept of Overbrook Town Center. Former Councilwoman Joan Deaver voted against the project and her replacement Councilman I G Burton voted against the project as a planning and zoning commissioner.

The County could appeal the decision to the Delaware Supreme Court which could further delay the vote on the project.
