Ocean City Is Getting Ready For The Hurricane

(OCEAN CITY, Md.) -Florence is on it's way to the East Region. Emergency Service Director Joseph Theobald said Ocean City will see start to feel the remnants of this storm on Thursday.
"This is a very powerful storm and it just went from a category 2 to a category 4 in a matter of hours and it will make landfall on the east coast of the U.S. and it does not have to make a direct landing right here," said Theobald. "We may serious effects from this storm and we have to be prepared," said Theobald.
Theobald said to make sure you have at least three days of food and know where you are going for the storm. The Dough Roller Owner William Gibbs said he has already taken the necessary steps to get ready for the hurricane.
"Mostly we get sandbags ready so we have sandbagged the side of the office," said Gibbs.
Gibbs said if you listen to the town's alerts and instructions, and work with the government everyone should be fine.
