(Lewes, Del.) -Slam Dunk is coming back to the Cape Henlopen High for the basketball tournament. It has already generated 4 million and expect another million this year. Dr. Matthew Robinson is the chairman of the event for the fifth straight year.
"That is coming into hotel stays, restaurants, shopping and by the teams that were coming and the fans coming into Sussex county for the event," said Robinson.
This year's event will feature 13 teams and will showcase some top talent in the nation.
Dr. Robinson made this announcement on Wednesday at Fish On In Lewes.
"We have also a couple younger players that are top prospects and a couple that jump out like Jonathan Kuminga and from New Savior American and is the third-ranked player in the 2020 class and so we might see him a few more times and Khalil Whitney who is seventh in the class is on his way to go play for Coach Calipari."
