(PARSONBURG, Md.) -  A Sunday night car crash leaves one person dead, but police have yet to identify the driver or the owner of the vehicle. Deputies from the Wicomco County Sheriff's Office were on the scene in Parsonburg just before midnight after a driver that was heading south on Esham Road lost control and ran off the road.

Police say the car then hit a tree and travel trailer, which caused it to burst into flames. The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says the driver was pronounced dead at the scene and that the car is not registered. They're now asking for help to identify both the driver and the owner of the car. The Sheriff's Office describes the car as a pearl white 2003 Cadillac Seville SLS/STS.

Anyone with information about the identity of the driver or the owner of the vehicle is asked to call Detective Sergeant Williams at 410-548-4891 or 410-548-4898.
