The Tuesday average price of a gallon of gasoline in Delaware is $2.68.  A three cent increase in less than 24 hours according to AAA Mid-Atlantic.  It is still considerably lower than the same period of time in 2018 when the gallon average was $2.91 In the Maryland, the average gallon will cost a Tuesday motorist $2.79.  Both states are still below the national average of $2.84.

AAA estimates over 105,00 Delaware residents will travel by automobile, 50 miles or more during the Memorial Day weekend (May 23 - 27).  It is an increase of 3.7 percent compared to the 2018 Memorial Day weekend.
