GREENVILLE, NC-- Macy Rickards has another dominating performance on the mound, throwing a 13 strikeout no-hitter in Delmar Little League Softball's 2-0 win over The Philippines (Asia-Pacific) to help send Delmar to the World Series' Semifinals.

In a game that appeared to be leaning toward a pitcher's duel from the start, Delmar was able to scratch in the first run of the game in the bottom of the 2nd. After Audrey Senft led off the inning with a triple, Cheyanne Willey was able to drive her home on a single two batters later.

Both offenses were quiet the rest of the way, until an RBI single from Rickards in the bottom of the 5th, which served as a nice insurance run for Rickards to go 1-2-3 in the top of the 6th to close it out.

Rickards has been nothing short of phenomenal in this tournament so far, having thrown three complete games, allowing only two runs, while striking out 39 batters through three games.

The win not only sends Delmar straight to the semifinal, but helps them avoid having to play a second game on the day as well. Their semifinal matchup will take place tomorrow at 4 p.m. and will be a rematch between either Connecticut (New England) or The Philippines (Asia-Pacific). The semifinals marks the end of the tournament's double-elimination phase, which means it will be do-or-die the rest of the way for Delmar.
