(SALISBURY, Md.)- An investigation into the death of a goose at the Salisbury City Park has led to the arrests of three teenagers in Wicomico County.

Police say 18-year-old Domonick Hall-Mallory, a 17-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy intentionally killed a goose in the City Park in Salisbury.

The incident occurred at the Park on Monday, March 21, near the Bens Red Swings, authorities said. Officers say folks reported people chasing and striking geese with sticks.

Police say they determined that several geese were struck and was goose was found dead, floating in the water.

The three were charged with aggravated animal cruelty. The 17-year-old and 14 year-old were released to their guardians, while Hall-Mallory was sent to Wicomico County Central Booking.
