(SALISBURY, Md.)- A suspect allegedly snatches a 54-year-old woman's purse then takes off on North Salisbury Boulevard Saturday night.

Officers responded to 617 N. Salisbury Blvd on January 31, 2015 at 10:56 pm, "The Express Mart" for a report of a robbery.

Officers met with a 54 year old female victim who stated that she was just robbed of her purse, and that the suspect fled on foot toward the rear of the business.

Further investigation by detectives revealed that the suspects and the victim were in the Express Mart together. The suspects exited the store before the victim. The victim then made a purchase and exited the store. Upon exiting the store, the victim was accosted by the two suspects on the side of the business.

One of the suspects pushed the victim to the ground and stole her purse. As the victim fell to the ground the suspects fled behind the business with the victim's purse. The victim did not sustain any injuries and did not require medical treatment.

Detectives were able to review video surveillance, which captured both suspects as they originally entered the store.

With the assistance of the Salisbury community, the detectives were able to positively identify both suspects as juvenile males.

The suspect who pushed the victim to the ground was located and arrested. The juvenile male was released to the Department of Juvenile Justice and he is being held at the Lower Eastern Shore Children's Center. Through the investigation, it was determined that the second juvenile male did not have any direct involvement in the crime.
