(LAUREL, Del.) - Delaware State Police are asking the public for help with locating a Delmar man who is wanted in connection with a burglary that happened in Laurel Friday afternoon.

Troopers were on the scene for a reported alarm at approximately 2:46 p.m. Friday March, 29th, 2019. Police say that through investigative measures, they were able to identify 27-year-old Josh Shelton of Delmar as the suspect who broke into and damaged the back door of a home in the 34000 block of Hudson Road in Laurel.

Police say Shelton fled without taking anything and that he currently has active warrants out of Troop 5 for Burglary Second Degree Dwelling, Possession of Burglar Tools, Attempting to Commit Theft, and Criminal Mischief.
