Georgetown - A Thursday request from Clay Conaway's attorney to lessen the restrictions on bond terms was granted by Superior Court Judge Richard Stokes. Conaway, a former University of Delaware baseball player, is facing charges of raping multiple women.

The new conditions allow Conaway to work for his father's construction company. Conaway's father is a former Delaware state police detective. His parents committed part of their property allowing Conaway to be free on bail after his 2018 arrest. Also part of the Thursday decision is granting Conaway permission to be able to go a short distance outside of his home. He has been under house arrest and prior to the change was not allowed to leave the house even to be on its porch.

According to the court schedule, Conaway's trial is set for June. He is facing 25 years to life in prison if found guilty.
