(MILTON, Del.) - The Milton Theater and Camp Rehoboth are joining forces and bringing the first ever Milton Pride Week to town.

The Milton Theater announced on Monday that they're partnering with Camp Rehoboth to bring this first ever event to town. The plan is for it to be an annual event.

Pride Week will take place during Pride Month. Various events will be held at the historic Milton Theater June 6th-9th.

Pride Week will feature a movie screening of the Boy Erased, a drag show, a tribute to Queen, and a "Celebration of Life" live music extravaganza.

All events will have a pre-show dance party, a drag photobooth, and special guests. Diffferent organizations will be present that can help inform attendees about the local LGBT community.

Marketing director JP Lacap says he's getting great feedback from the community so far. "We just want everyone, not just the LGBT community to attend. The theme this year is going to be love, diversity, and community. Just like what we always say at the Milton Theater, there's always something for everyone," he says.

A portion of ticket sales will go to Camp Rehoboth. Click here to buy tickets.
