SELBYVILLE, Del.- While Wednesday night's Powerball drawing is hotly anticipated, one local man is a big winner due to a drawing earlier in March.

According to the Delaware Lottery, the man purchased two Quick Pick tickets for the March 2nd drawing at the Fenwick Island Goose Creek. He ended up with a million dollar ticket. After taxes, them man will take home $760,000.

"This is the second $1,000,000 winner from Delaware in just two months," said Vernon Kirk, Director of the Delaware Lottery. "A $1,000,000 winning MEGA MILLIONS® ticket was sold in Rehoboth in January."

The man is choosing to remain anonymous and says he's still deciding what to do with the money.

According to the Delaware Lottery, the jackpot for Wednesday's drawing is an estimated $550 million - the 8th largest jackpot on record. The cash option is an estimated $335 million.
