(ELLENDALE, Del.)- A family of four escapes a Sunday morning camper fire in Ellendale only to be taken to a nearby hospital.

Fire crews responded to the blaze just off Greentop Road shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday. The State Fire Marshal says a family of four fled from the burning camper and needed to be treated in a nearby hospital.

The children who are just 1 and 2 years old have been released to relatives. The State Fire Marshal says the adults need more treatment but are in stable condition.
