(BETHANY BEACH, Del.) - Ice skating in Sussex County is non-existent after Winter Wonderfest wraps up, yet this weekend children and adults in Bethany Beach could be seen gliding around on one.

For the second year in a row, this rink is one of the highlights of the Bethany Beach Fire and Ice Festival. For just $5 children and adults can rent a pair of skates and hop on a synthetic ice surface. They're gliding along for a cause. All proceeds from the rink go towards the Believe in Tomorrow Children's Foundation.

Special Events Planner Elaine Morgan explains, "Believe in Tomorrow is a children's charity that provides free hospital housing at Hopkins and also free respite stays for critically ill children and their families."

The charity's next event is a prom night at Seacrets in Ocean City on February 2nd, 2019.
