(SUSSEX COUNTY, Del.) - The Wilmington VA Medical Center is pleased to announce a groundbreaking ceremony for the new location of its Sussex County Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15.

The current Sussex County CBOC is located at 15 Georgetown Plaza, in Georgetown, DE and serves about 3,500 veterans with primary care, behavioral health, social work, telehealth, and specialty services.

The new clinic will be located at 21748 Roth Avenue, Georgetown, DE. This location will accommodate a larger clinic that will service more veteran patients. It will have improved waiting areas, more exam rooms, and additional space for group clinics, support groups, and expanded telehealth services.

"We are very excited about this new location, that allows us to grow and meet the ever-expanding healthcare needs of the veterans we serve in lower Delaware and surrounding areas," said Robin C. Aube-Warren, director the Wilmington VA Medical Center.
