Georgetown- The Delaware State Police are currently on the scene of a fatal motor vehicle crash after multiple vehicles were struck on US 113 north of Georgetown which occurred this evening.

The preliminary investigation indicates on November 7, 2015 at approximately 9:04 p.m. a crash involved a vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes and struck multiple vehicles. One person has died at the scene while five subjects were removed from the scene by EMS and transported to local area hospitals with undetermined injuries. The State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is currently enroute to the scene and will assume the investigation.

Both northbound and southbound lanes, of US 113 in the area of West Robbins Road, are currently closed. Commuters are advised to slow down in the area and if possible seek alternate routes of travel.
