(Salisbury, Md.)- Mayor James Eaton openly welcomes the public to attend an open discussion regarding violence in the community tonight at the Salisbury Fire Headquarters located at 325 Cypress Street this evening at 7:30 pm.. Also in attendance will be Attorney General Brian Frosh and several representatives from local outreach groups. The mission is to bring light of the continuous efforts to put an end to violent crimes locally as well as nationally.

"Throughout the country a debate rages about the issues that have, again, come front and center for Salisbury", stated Mayor Ireton. "Much of the debate and disclosure is less than productive. The goal of this engagement to address root causes, and to give the community a chance to weigh in and become aware of resources that are currently available."
