MILFORD, Del.- A stretch of U.S. Route 113 in the southern part of Milford is scheduled to have new Delaware Authority for Regional Transit (DART) bus stops.

This week the extension of bus route 210 was discussed in Georgetown at the first of four Public Hearing Workshops held by the Delaware Transit Corporation.

The current route runs from the Bayhealth Sussex Campus to the Boys and Girls Club on Veterans Boulevard. The proposed extension will include service to the Milford Industrial Park.

"It would cover of the retail shops would cover more of the area that is underserved right now," DART Planner Stephen Ottinger explained. "It would allow pedestrians to to walk a little more easier to some of these areas which they were already attending."

Barring an unexpected change, the Route 210 extension along with other revisions and a number of bus stop removals will take place on Dec. 15.
