Woman Arrested for Ocean Pines Burglary Spree
OCEAN PINES, Md.- Ocean Pines police announced Monday the arrest of a woman accused of burglarizing four homes in the Worcester County community.
Heather Teal Reece, 42, with a last known address of Tazewell, Tenn., is chargd with one count of first-degree burglary, one count of third-degree burglary, four counts of fourth-degree burglary, and one count of theft scheme from $150-$1,500.
Police said Reece, who appeared homeless at the time, entered homes and took minor property from inside and outside the homes.
Most of the residences were unlocked at the time of entry, according to police.
Police said a wanted check after Reece's arrest revealed that she was wanted for a
felony warrant out of New Jersey for suspected auto theft.
Following her arrest on the aforementioned charges, Reece was ordered held without bond in the Worcester County Jail.
