REHOBOTH EACH, Del.- A fire broke out in Sussex County in the early morning hours Friday.

According to Rehoboth Beach Public Information Officer Warren Jones, the call was just after 1 a.m. this morning. Jones say seven local fire companies responded to the fire. 

The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office says the fire started in the 35000 block of Haven Drive in the Beach Haven Condominiums near Coastal Highway. 

Jones says the fire was contained to one building but several units were damaged. 

Jones says there were no injuries reported; the Red Cross has been notified to help families affected by the fire.

Fire officials estimate damages may exceed $1,000,000, but there were no injuries.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
