Delmarva is looking forward to a much warmer and drier week ahead, but some dreariness lingers as the weekend comes to a close.
Sunday will be a much more pleasant day. While the day will start out gray, some sunshine will return during the afternoon hours. Temperatures will rise to near 70 inland and a bit cooler at the beach due to an onshore wind.
That onshore wind will keep conditions cooler into Monday. Monday we are looking at clouds early on with clearing late in the day. Temperatures once again will rise to near 70 inland and the 60s at the coast.
Tuesday will feature temperatures rising into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees as the onshore wind breaks down. Clouds will be few and far between for one of the first days in quite some time.
It will only get warmer from there as temperatures continue to rise into the 80s Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday will see temperatures rise all the way into the mid to upper 80s before some late day isolated storms arrive.
Warmer weather likely continues into Memorial Day Weekend. Be sure to tune into CoastTV News at 6 and 11 for your latest forecast.
