Feather of DHA

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - 2-year-old Feather may be named after the toys she likes to swat at, but the Delaware Humane Association says she is also their longest feline resident and has been with them since summer 2021.

"She loves to be in the free roam room," says Rehoboth Beach Adoption Center Director Leigh Dempsey. "She comes out and plays with some of the younger cats when they're in here and she likes to go hide in her little cubbies and take her cat snoozes throughout the day, but she's very sweet, very affectionate and we're just hoping that her forever home sees her and gives her a chance."

Not only is Feather affectionate with people, Dempsey says she loves other cats.

"She kind of helps some of the shy cats build their confidence when they first come into the free roam room, so she takes on a bit of a motherly role which is very sweet," Dempsey says.

Feather likes dry food, wet food, cat nip, and any treats!
