REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - 7-year-old Broccoli from the Delaware Humane Association stopped by WRDE full of lots of love to share.Â
She's a 7-year-old lollygagger, which means she's been with us for over 60 days," Dempsey says. "She was returned in August. No fault of her own, just a change in lifestyle of the home that she was in so they brought her back to us and we love her."Â
DHA has reduced Broccoli's adoption fee.Â
Dempsey says Broccoli, also known as "Broc," has other dog friends, but she can be a little selective. DHA would need to do a dog meet with any potential siblings.Â
"She actually lived with another dog in her previous home and she's made some friends since she's been here," Dempsey says. "Not a fan of cats or maybe too much of a fan of cats I should say, so we would recommend a no cat home, but certainly a dog home could be a good fit for her."
Broccoli enjoys shorter walks. Dempsey says she'll run around for a couple of minutes and play, but otherwise but just would like to snuggle.
