LEWES, Del. - Volunteers ranging from teens to retirees have been preparing to stay afloat.
Participants in the Lewes Historical Society's wooden boat building program have been working on building new boats over the last few days.
They're planning to take the boats out for a test ride on the canal in Lewes. Spectators can join them in Canalfront park Saturday at 1 p.m.
