NEW CASTLE COUNTY, Del. - County Executive New Castle County Matt Meyer has announced that he will be running for Delaware Governor in the upcoming 2024 election.
Meyer is a middle school math teacher and small business owner, elected in to his current position after beating out former Executive Thomas P. Gordon, who was 12 years incumbent.
He is currently serving his second term as County Executive.
