(Oak Orchard, Del) - Oak Orchard residents met with state and local officials Thursday night, October 29, 2015 to hear plans for flooding in the area. According to officials from DNREC a survey with property owners determined five high priority area. Engineers are looking at sections on River Road, the intersection of Mercer Avenue and Forest Drive, the southwest corner of Captain's Grant and Oak Meadow Drive.
The cost of those projects would run about $3 million, though no funding has yet been lined up.
