Sunfest kicks off in Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. - Sunfest kicked off in Ocean City today for its 48th year. The annual festival includes music, crafts, activities and food from all across Delmarva and beyond.

There were artisans from across the country who come to Ocean City to show off their work.

Sunfest is considered a great event for local businesses even the ones not close to the inlet.

The owner of Bayside Skillet Sid Zweigbaum said Sunfest is always pretty busy.

"I would say this is always a weekend, I don't take a vacation on because I know it's gonna be a busy weekend," Zweigbaum said. "At this time of year typically, we have less employees available, so we kind of do have all hands on deck with our employees this weekend."

Sunfest will be going on all weekend until Sunday at 3 p.m.
