REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - Hundreds of people gathered at Salero in Rehoboth Beach to support Cancer Support Community Delaware's annual Pink Affair fundraiser on Friday.
The event included a plated lunch, a high-end thrift boutique, 50-50 raffle, silent and live auctions and over 20 raffle gift baskets. The money raised goes to Cancer Support Community Delaware.
Cancer Support Community Delaware is dedicated exclusively to helping people cope with and manage the emotional aspect of cancer. The group prioritizes helping caregivers and family members as well. CSCDE offers support groups, yoga, art therapy and more.
Early estimates suggest the Pink Affair generated roughly $25,000 for the non-profit.
The group's other large fundraiser in Sussex County, Wings of Hope, was held in Milton this June. CoastTV is a proud sponsor of Cancer Support Community Delaware.
