WASHINGTON, D.C. - Senator Tom Carper (D - Del) has tested positive for COVID-19. The Senator is fully vaccinated and double boosted.
Senator Carper is halting his plans to travel to Egypt for the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference, according to the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. He will quarantine in accordance with public health guidelines. The Senator's office says he looks forward to getting back to work as soon as it is safe for him to do so.
