A bill introduced Wednesday in the Delaware State House of Representatives is designed to protect victims of sexual assault, discrimination, or harassment from retaliatory lawsuits. Those are lawsuits filed by the accused against the victim.

The man at the center of a lawsuit involving a former Sussex Central High School student says he will present his side of this case on Thursday. On his Facebook page, former Principal Dr. Bradley Layfield announced he will hold a public hearing at 9:00 am at the CHEER Center in Georgetown.

"There was no basis to remove the case," said District Court Judge Richard Andrews. An attempt by Cabela's to move an investigation into its hands-off shoplifting approach to federal court has been dismissed. The case centered around reports that 500,000 rounds of ammunition were stolen from the store's Newark location in less than a year.
